“Mary has just completed a total interior redesign of our four bedroom 19th century brick and flint cottage. As a recently retired couple you can imagine it was with some trepidation we embarked on this project, as it was to be our first experience of handing over decision making and execution to someone else. We were brave enough to put our complete faith in Mary and her ability to correctly and imaginatively interpret our fairly vague thoughts as to how we wanted the house to work for the two of us, after being a family home. We wanted to preserve a common theme throughout in sympathy and in character with the house. Through Mary’s style and ingenious use of colour, she has managed to achieve an end result where all the rooms link together but each has its own unique colour scheme and identity. Her use of wallpapers, fabrics, furniture and lighting create a very special ambience.
